We build AI for a living. This is how we explain it to a five-year-old.
Mile Coder is a small software studio. We spend our working days building AI into other people's products — and we kept running into the same problem at home: everything written about AI for children is either a cartoon that explains nothing, or a document written for adults.
So we built the thing we wanted. Eighteen hands-on missions, a safe search station, and a growing shelf of AI resources picked for parents and teachers. It is free, it has no ads, and it will stay that way.
What we promise
Nothing leaves the device
Every game runs entirely in the browser. There is no login, no account, and nothing a child taps or types is sent to a server. Badges live in your own browser storage and are erased when you clear it.
No ads, ever
No advertising, no sponsored placements, no affiliate links inside the children’s games, and no third-party tracking scripts following a child around the web.
Real models, honestly small
The demos are not animations pretending to be AI. The word game is a Markov chain, the robot brain is a perceptron, the creature sorter is a k-nearest-neighbour classifier. Every lesson has a "for grown-ups" note saying exactly what it maps to.
How it is paid for
Out of our own pocket. Mile Coder's client work funds the site, which is why there is no advertising on it and no reason to collect anything about the children who use it. If you want to talk to us about building something, email us — but nothing on this site is trying to sell you anything.
